Mon - Thurs shoot times: 9am, 12pm, 3pm, & 6pm.
Fri shoot times: 9am, 12pm, 3pm.

How far in advance do I need to book a session?
I book 2 to 4 weeks in advance, however I recommend calling well in advance.
Do you require a deposit?
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to reserve your session.
When should I have my pregnancy portraits taken?
4 to 8 weeks prior to your due date.
Where does the photo session take place?
I have a studio in my home in San Marcos which makes for a relaxed and comfortable setting. We are conveniently located in North San Diego County just minutes from the 15 and 78 freeways.
Do you recommend I have my makeup professionally done?
YES! I highly recommend having your makeup done. Remember - you are investing in photos that will be around for a lifetime of enjoyment, so having your makeup done is well worth it. The makeup artist that I use is Melissa Rae & Co. She will come to the studio before your session for $70, or you can visit her at her Carlsbad location before you come in for your session for $60. You could even get a facial while you're there - pamper yourself!
What is the best age for a newborn session?
Within the first 10 days after birth. (I am a stickler with this!) This is the best time to capture the early newborn stage when they sleep most of the time and still like to be “curled up”, which is the only time that can truly be considered a newborn session.

Where do boudoir sessions take place?
These sessions take place either in the comfort of your home or in a swanky hotel.
What comes with the purchase of a package? {maternity, newborn, baby}
2 hours of the photographer’s time, studio session, different background and fabric choices, digital capture of your session (60 to 100 images), basic retouching of the images, artistically altered images, 30 days of online viewing, sharing, and a la carte ordering, 5 Facebook images and the unique ability to customize your package to fit your needs with the purchase of prints, gallery wraps, albums, coffee table books, etc.
What happens after my images are posted online?
I will email you the login in information to access your online gallery. At this time we can also schedule personalized ordering session which will take place at my studio. This is a great opportunity to look at and touch-and-feel all of my amazing albums, announcements, gallery wraps, etc. And I will be there to offer my advise with image selection. This really helps with the decision process. The ordering session is only available for 30 days after your images are posted online.
Can I purchase the digital negatives?
The digital negatives can only be obtained after a minimum print/ product purchase of $200. Once the purchase requirements is met the cost of the CD is $295. As a photographer, what represents my work is the printed piece. Because you will be displaying my photography (my work, my livelihood, my pride & joy) in your home, understanding the value of a professionally printed image is extremely important. All images that you purchase from me are from a color calibrated monitor, cropped, color corrected, sharpened, enhanced (known as post processing) and printed on professional archival paper from a professional and reputable lab. The post processing techniques that I have spent years learning and perfecting are one of the most important and valuable aspects to the final images and my creative identity.
Can you diminish the appearance of stretch marks?
Your images will be captured digitally and then edited on the computer which allows me to retouch imperfections. Minor retouching is included with all sessions. Minor retouching includes: dust & stray hair removal, baby acne, minimal stretch marks, wrinkles & blemishes. Additional retouching is available for $50/ hour (billed by the half hour).
What are your turn around times?
- A Sneak Peak of a few of my favorite images from your session will be posted on my blog about 1 week after your session.
- Your website gallery (online proofs) will be available 2 to 3 weeks after your session. At this time you may schedule your ordering session, purchase prints & products and place your order for items that you've previously paid for.
- Prints take about 10 business days, Gallery Wraps take 2 to 3 weeks.
- Announcements/ custom cards take about 10 business days.
- Specialty items, such as books and albums, are subject to a longer turn around time of approximately 5 weeks or more due to image processing & design, lab turn around times and shipping.
- Delays may occur if additional retouching is requested or change orders are placed.
- We offer a 50% rush charge if you need something rushed.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations MUST be made 24 hours prior to your session. You will be billed a fee of $25 for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
Additional Family Members?
Mom, dad, and siblings are a welcome part of every session (up to 5 people). Additional family members are $50 per person.
Session Details {maternity, newborn, baby}
- Images are captured digitally in black & white and/ or color.
- I have a large selection of beautiful fabrics for maternity sessions and gorgeous baskets and blankets for newborn sessions.
- Sessions are about 2 hours in length.
- Approximately 2 to 3 weeks after your session your images, including a selection of color, black & white, sepia toned and artistically altered images will be posted online. Your password protected gallery will be available for 30 days for easy viewing, sharing, and a la carte ordering.
- Minor retouching is included with any prints and products that you order.
- Every session includes 5 watermarked Facebook images.
- Every session includes a personalized ordering session at the studio after your images are posed online.
- PRINTS & PRODUCTS ARE PURCHASED IN ADDITION TO YOUR SESSION.
