I am proud to announce that I was a donor at the Night of Nights Gala, which was held on June 13, 2009. Cogdell Photography donated a portrait session in partnership with Melissa Rae & Co., who donated her makeup services, to benefit the PPH foundation. Proceeds from this year's Night of Nights will help fund construction of the Palomar Medical Center West, including emergency and trauma services.
On a side note: a former maternity client was the winning bidder on my donated item!! I can't wait to see her back for a second maternity session since she is now expecting baby number 2!

Thanks to all of you who attended the BabyTime Expo over the weekend. The event was a huge success! Hundreds of attendees entered my prize drawing and two were selected and notified this morning. The response to my booth and my photography was terrific! I will post more photos of the event later, but here is a picture of my pretty booth!
Little Miss "E"! She was an absolute doll! I could have kept shooting for hours. She went from wide awake, blowing bubbles, sleeping, deep sleeping...and letting me do what ever I wanted! I love the one with the purple hat =), although mom was not the biggest fan...I think we all got a good laugh! Hopefully "E" will find some humor in it too when she is older!
What a great time I had with these two! Kurt & Janet were lovely to work (not to mention Kurt was a crack up the whole time!). Janet was a referral client - much appreciated! They purchased the "Belly then Baby" package, which is my most popular, and I'll be seeing them back with their newborn in a few weeks. Thanks to both of you, and I can't wait to meet your new little bundle of joy!

This was Goli's second time visiting me for a maternity session. Her son wasn't feeling so great the day of the session, but we had to press on since mom was starting to have contractions!! No time to reschedule!! Goli is absolutely gorgeous...I don't know how she does it! Congrats on baby number two!
