One of the greatest aspects of my job is that no two bellies or babies are alike. Laura and her gorgeous belly prove my point. It always amazes me to see such a beautiful belly and to see the joy on the proud parents faces. Laura had her makeup done for this session by Tess of T & T Makeup, who did a fabulous job at creating a glamorous look for Laura.

Sweet little Piper made her arrival earlier this month. Her long awaited arrival has been anticipated and planned for a very long time and her gorgeous mommy has been a pleasure to work with and photograph. What a lucky family little Piper has! Daddy, who owns Canterbury Gardens in Escondido, was delighted to welcome his fourth child (although it happens to fall during the busiest and most demanding time of the year!).
Julia had her maternity portraits done with me a few months ago and this time around I visited their home for a lovely holiday session. I just love the elf hat and cocoon...which have appeared in many photos...a client AND photographer favorite! What a cute little guy and a nice family!
The Felker Family is one of my most fun families ever! This young, hip family joined me in Downtown Escondido for an edgy, urban holiday portrait session. Downtown Escondido is a great spot for this type of session because of the convenient 2 block or so shooting area - so there isn't too much walking around to do. Also, there is tons of variety when it comes to locations, such as brick walls, metal, funky painted murals, etc. The Felker's brought grandma & grandpa & their dog, Holly, along...SO much fun!
I love this family! The W. Family recently welcomed their second daughter and I had the joy of photographing her when she was only 9 days old. Little Olivia was a sweet little baby...awake or asleep! =) Her big sister was so great with her. Thank you W. Family! You have a beautiful family.
OK, I couldn't have asked for a more adorable little 6 pound newbie! This little guy slept when I wanted him to, he made my job so much fun! THIS is why I love to photograph newborns...especially when they are teeny-tiny!
